Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers books bought directly from this website. Books bought through Amazon are covered by Amazon's own returns policy, not this one.

PDF edition (digital)

Each PDF is generated for one buyer and stamped on every page with that buyer's name and order number. Because the file is delivered immediately and personalised, it cannot be returned once downloaded, and PDF purchases are not generally refundable.

We will, however, refund a PDF purchase in full where:

• You were charged more than once for the same order.
• The download never worked and we could not fix it for you.
• The file was materially not as described on this site.

If you simply can't get the file, please contact us before asking for a refund — in almost every case we can send a fresh download link within a few hours. You can also request a new link yourself.

Paperback edition

We ship paperbacks within India from Chennai.

• Cancellation: you may cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund. Email us with your order number — we dispatch within 2–3 working days, so please tell us quickly.
• Damaged or faulty on arrival: tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the damage. We will send a replacement copy at our cost, or refund you in full if a replacement isn't available.
• Wrong item: if we send the wrong book, we cover return postage and send the correct one.
• Change of mind: we accept returns within 7 days of delivery if the book is unread and in resalable condition. Return postage is yours to pay, and we refund the book price once it reaches us in good order.

We can't accept returns of books that have been written in, marked, or damaged after delivery.

Never delivered

If a paperback hasn't arrived within 14 working days of dispatch, contact us with your order number. We will trace it with the courier and either resend the book or refund you in full.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we approve a refund it is processed within 3–5 working days, and your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5–7 working days to show it on your statement. Delivery charges, where they were paid, are refunded in full when the fault is ours.

How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] or use our contact form with:

• your order number (it looks like IR-XXXXXXX-XXXX),
• the email address used at checkout, and
• a short description of the problem, with photographs if the book arrived damaged.

We reply to every request within 2–3 working days.
